For maximum versatility, the jack can be operated pneumatically using compressed air or manually using the supplied two-piece lifting and lowering handle. This dual-operation design is particularly useful for workshop and mobile service applications where an air supply may not always be available.

The chrome-plated piston provides additional protection against rust and corrosion, while an integrated safety valve helps prevent overloading. A double-spring system provides controlled and safe descent as hydraulic pressure is released.

A heat-treated adjustable extension screw provides an additional 3.75" (95.3mm) of adjustment, allowing the saddle to be positioned closer to the lifting point before hydraulic operation and helping avoid unnecessary overextension of the cylinder.
