Counteract Eco Balancing Beads 3mm (Bags)

Although specifically designed for more demanding applications, ECO XL is compatible with a wide range of tyre and wheel applications where an internal balancing solution is suitable.

As the tyre begins to rotate, centrifugal force distributes the beads around the inside of the tyre. When an imbalance or heavy spot is present within the rotating assembly, inertia causes the beads to migrate to the area required to counteract that imbalance.

The beads continue to automatically reposition themselves until the complete rotating wheel assembly is balanced. Because the beads remain free to move inside the tyre, they can continually adjust while driving as tyre wear and other operating conditions change.

ECO XL balances more than simply the tyre. The system is designed to dynamically balance the complete rotating axle-end assembly on the fly, providing an effective solution for applications where conventional fixed balancing methods may be less practical.

How It Works:

As the wheel begins rotating, centrifugal force distributes the ECO XL beads around the inside circumference of the tyre. Any heavy spot within the complete rotating assembly creates an uneven force as wheel speed increases.

Through inertia, the free-moving beads migrate away from this imbalance and accumulate where additional counterbalancing weight is required. This movement continues until the forces within the rotating assembly are balanced.

As operating conditions change, the beads can continually redistribute themselves, providing an adaptive balancing system rather than relying on weights permanently fixed in one location.
