Each Power Valkaseal plug combines a non-vulcanised rubber outer surface with an internal nylon fibre reinforcement. This specialised construction provides the strength and flexibility required for effective installation while helping the repair material conform closely to the prepared puncture channel.

The plug features a specially designed cross-sectional profile that changes towards a rounded shape as it is inserted into the injury. This allows the repair material to conform to and effectively fill the puncture channel, helping create a secure seal.

The LP-1430 incorporates a grey bonding layer designed to work with Maruni SUPER VALKARN G / CFC FREE vulcanising cement. When correctly installed, the cement activates the bonding layer, allowing it to vulcanise with the tyre and helping create a complete and effective seal within the prepared injury channel.
